Professor John Igemo Ikimalo
Professor John Igemo Ikimalo is the chairman Mayfair Microfinance Bank. He is a distinguished medical practitioner and a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State and is currently Dean of the Faculty of Clinical Services at the University. He has held numerous senior administrative positions in the public sector in Nigeria. He is also the Founder and Medical Director of Prime Medical Consultants and Prime Fertility Center in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Mrs. Gift Oyakhamoh
Mrs. Oyakhamoh studied Public Administration at Ambrose Alli University and is a passionate entrepreneur. She had worked with Rivers State University of Science and Technology before setting up her indigenous business among which are Kids World Plaza, Whitish White Limited and Dbani Fashions. She brings her entrepreneurial and practical experience to bear on the board.
Mr. Segun Sopitan
Mr. Segun Sopitan is a seasoned banker turned entrepreneur with over 12 years’ experience in the banking industry where he rose to senior management position. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany from the University of Ilorin and holds an MBA awarded by IESE Business School of the University of Navara, Barcelona Spain. He is a certified Treasury professional (CTP) and currently a student member of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants of England (ACCA). He has gone on numerous management, accounting and IT courses in Nigeria and abroad. Mr. Sopitan is the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of SWAV Ventures Limited. He is also a partner at Woodridge & Scott Consulting, a financial consulting and training firm.
Cheta is the CEO of MAYFAIR MfB. He assumed this role after a 6 month stint as Chief Operating Officer with oversight responsibilities over Channels & Technology, Product & Sales, Finance and Risk Management. He holds an accounting degree from University of Benin, an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School and 16 years’ experience spanning financial services, mobile technology, advertising and entrepreneurship development. 7 years of which has been spent managing micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) propositions & products in the banking sector with Ecobank Nigeria and Diamond Bank. Prior to joining MAYFAIR, Cheta was Vice President/CEO, Consumer Lending, Primera Africa Finance Group (PAFG).
