Professor John Igemo Ikimalo

Professor John Igemo Ikimalo is the chairman of Mayfair Microfinance Bank. He is a distinguished medical practitioner and a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State and is currently Dean of the Faculty of Clinical Services at the University. He has held numerous senior administrative positions in the public sector in Nigeria. He is also the Founder and Medical Director of Prime Medical Consultants and Prime Fertility Center in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

 

 

 

 

 

 

MD/CEO – FELIX OYAKHAMOH 

The team is led by Mr. Felix Oyakhamoh, a microfinance and development finance expert. Prior to joining Mayfair as full-time MD/CEO in May 2019, he worked as the Business Development Executive (a C-Level role) briefly at SunTrust Bank Limited. He was also a Development Finance Consultant with Ecobank Nigeria Limited overseeing the banks activities in development programs spanning Microfinance and Development Partnership.

Felix bagged a second class upper Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 1992 and has an MBA (Banking & Finance) from Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School, Boston USA; London School of Retail Banking and Boulder Institute of Microfinance, Turin Italy and USA among others.

Felix has over 25 years post-NYSC experience in oil and gas and an illustrious banking career that has seen him achieve significant performance milestones across 5 major Nigerian Banks. Felix is a renowned development finance authority. He had consulted/worked in partnership with NetPost Nigeria Limited (a subsidiary of Nipost), the World Bank, USAID, NAPEP, the governments of Nasarawa, Bayelsa, Delta, and Cross Rivers States, amongst others.

Felix’s passion for microfinance and development finance initiatives has earned him appointments as member of the Presidential Technical Committee on Agriculture to Brazil, member of the National Working Group on Microfinance Strategy for Nigeria, member of the Microfinance Advisory Board of Nigeria, member of the Inter-Agency Committee for the Annual CBN Entrepreneurship Award and member of the Governing Council of the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.

Felix also comes with versed board experience garnered from having been on the board of several companies across the diverse industry. He had been on the board of Digital Bridge Institute, Maitama Amusement Park PLC, Golden Astoria Hotel Ltd, Nigerian Army Drug Manufacturing Company Ltd, Gasoil Nigeria Limited, Atobi Metal Industries Limited, Cyrus Woodcrafters Limited and Sidochem Industries Ltd. He is currently on the board of Mayfair Microfinance Bank Ltd, Dreamworld Amusement Park Ltd, Transweb Bureau De Change Ltd, Dbani Supermarket, SLA Analytics Ltd and Bullion Delivery Services Ltd.

 

 Mrs. Gift Oyakhamoh

Mrs. Oyakhamoh studied Public Administration at Ambrose Alli University and is a passionate entrepreneur. She had worked with Rivers State University of Science and Technology before setting up her indigenous business among which are Kids World Plaza, Whitish White Limited and Dbani Fashions. She brings her entrepreneurial and practical experience to bear on the board.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Segun Sopitan

 

Mr. Segun Sopitan is a seasoned banker turned entrepreneur with over 12 years’ experience in the banking industry where he rose to a senior management position. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Botany from the University of Ilorin and holds an MBA awarded by IESE Business School of the University of Navara, Barcelona Spain. He is a certified treasury professional (CTP) and currently a student member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants of England (ACCA). He has gone on numerous management, accounting and IT courses in Nigeria and abroad. Mr. Sopitan is the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of SWAV Ventures Limited. He is also a partner at Woodridge & Scott Consulting, a financial consulting and training firm.

 

 

Mr Anu Ibiwoye

Mr. Anu Ibiwoye holds a B.Sc degree in Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University and an MBA from the University of Ilorin. He has over 16 years of cognate experience in various management positions in the banking and finance industry. He is a chartered stockbroker and was the Chief Operating Officer of Lead Investment Limited, a subsidiary of Lead Merchant Bank. He also worked in various management positions within Lead Merchant Bank and Oceanic Bank International Plc. Between 2003-2004, he worked as Special Assistant to the Minister of State for Women Affairs and subsequently as the Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of State for Health. 

In January 2006, Anu joined Oceanic Bank International Plc and he held many positions in the bank including Managing the Headoffice Branch, and Regional Manager in the FCT.

He received awards as the most profitable Branch Manager for 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 and was responsible for managing one of the largest balance sheet size in the bank

In February 2010, Anu commenced, private practice in Financial Consulting and Property management. He also formally joined the Action Congress of Nigeria in Kwara state to run for the Kwara South Senatorial seat. Even though he did not win the election, Anu’s participation in that April 2011 Senatorial election has raised the bar in the politics of Kwara South.

In private practice, Anu has continued to make his mark and contribute his quota to the development of the private sector and the country at large. He is a mentor to many youth and youth groups in Kwara state and the FCT. He is in Politics to make a difference and redefine how politics ought to be carried on.

In November 2014, Anu was appointed as the Deputy Director – General (South) of Mandate 2015, the Political Machinery saddled with the responsibility of delivering the all the candidates of the All Progressive Congress in all elections across the state. For the First time in the History of Kwara State, the Mandate 2015 under the leadership of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON) delivered all elective offices in the 2015 general elections to the All Progressive Congress.

In September 2015, Anu was appointed as Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kwara State on Agriculture and Rural Water Support Services, a position he currently holds till date.
